A pin is a load-bearing pivot point on a heavy-haulage trailer - it carries shear load while the components swing around it. It sits in the suspension and carries the axle's working load as the trailer flexes. Under constant working load and grit ingress, pins wear oval, score and develop play. EE001 replaces a worn pin to its original diameter and finish. Confirm fit by sending your worn part, photo or dimensions.

Worn trailer pins announce themselves before they fail. Watch for knocking or clunking over bumps and through turns, visible play when you lever the joint, a pin gone oval, scored or stepped, or stiff, notchy movement where it should swing freely. Left too long, a worn pin chews out the mating bush or housing and turns a cheap pin job into a much bigger repair.
