What we machine, and why it matters

Material substitution is the most common shortcut taken by cheap aftermarket suppliers — and the most common cause of premature wear. Every part is machined from the spec material, with mill certs available on request.

4140 PG Bar (heat treated)
Suspension pins, hanger pins, equaliser pins. Through-hardened to 28-32 HRC. Standard for high-cycle wear surfaces.
4140 Hardened & Ground
King pins, steering knuckle pins. Surface hardness 50+ HRC, ground to size for tight fit in bushings.
E470 Euronorm Hollow Bar
Rocker axle pins where weight reduction matters and load is rated to spec. Direct substitute on European-built trailer suspensions.
Phosphor Bronze C932 / C954
Hanger and cylinder bushings. Self-lubricating, won't gall on hardened pins. Long service life with grease nipple maintenance.
Hardox 450 / 500
Wear plates, ramp tips, tailgate edges. Through-hardened abrasion-resistant plate.
304 / 316 Stainless
Hardware exposed to coastal corrosion or wash-down. 316L for chloride environments.
