This seal runner sets the spacing, alignment and end-float that keep a trailer joint running true - it locates components and takes thrust so they don't wander or bind. It gives the seal a true, hard running surface to ride on. Worn or crushed, it lets parts move where they shouldn't. EE067 restores the correct dimension. Look for end-float or sideways play that wasn't there before, fretting or bright rub marks on the faces, a crushed or stepped profile, or components that no longer sit square. Renewing them is cheap insurance against accelerated wear in the pins and bushes they locate.
