Signs it needs replacing

Ramp, dolly and cylinder parts cop heavy, repeated load. Look for play or slop in the ram and ramp pivots, scored or ovalled pins, bushes that have opened up, and lift movement that has gone sloppy or jerky. Renewing the pin and bush together takes the slack out and keeps the geometry right under load.

Made from 4140 PLD - a high-tensile chrome-moly grade chosen for shafts and pins because it resists bending and holds its diameter under repeated heavy load.
