3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling for housings, manifolds, brackets, valve bodies and prismatic components in 4140, stainless, bronze and aluminium. Tolerances to ±0.02mm. One-offs welcome. Quotes back in 24-48 hours.
If it's prismatic, has flat faces, ports, slots or pockets — it's a milling job. Most weeks the machining centres run a mix of hydraulic manifolds, mining housings, valve internals and aftermarket trailer brackets.
4140 PG and 316L stainless. Cross-drilled bores, multi-port faces, ±0.05mm bore concentricity. Common for mining cylinders, oil & gas subsea, and process control systems.
4140 plate and bar. Bored, faced and bolt-pattern drilled. Reverse-engineered for OEM-obsolete crusher and conveyor frames where the original drawings are long gone.
Hardox 450/500 plate. Profiled, drilled and counterbored for liner replacement. Mild steel and 316 stainless brackets for trailer chassis, screen frames and conveyor housings.
Three CNC machining centres — two 3-axis verticals and one 4-axis with a horizontal trunnion. Read this like a data sheet. If your part falls outside, we'll tell you at quote stage rather than waste your week.
A trunnion 4th axis means multi-faced parts go through one setup, not three. Fewer datums means tighter true-position on bolt patterns and ports — and a lower price than three separate ops.
Quotes don't go through a "send to estimator" black box. The engineer who'll machine it reads the drawing, flags any GD&T problems, and replies. That catches OEM drawing errors before they become six-week reworks.
Single prototype to 5,000-piece production runs on the same shop floor. Setup amortises sharply past ~50 pieces on milling work — we'll quote a per-piece curve so you can see the breakeven.
STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF, PDF or photos of a worn sample. Upload to /quote or email contact@enexengineering.com.au. No drawing? Send a sample, we'll measure.
Engineer reviews same day. Pricing and lead time back inside 48 hours. If anything's unclear we phone, not a 4-day email chain.
PO accepted by email. Material traceability and dim reports included on request. Standard freight to most of WA built into the price.
Travels of 1,280mm × 600mm × 600mm in X/Y/Z. Larger workpieces are split into sub-assemblies; we'll advise at quote stage.
Yes. One of our machining centres has a horizontal trunnion 4th axis for around-the-clock prismatic work — manifold blocks, valve bodies, multi-faced housings. 5-axis is partnered out for the rare jobs that need it.
±0.02mm routine on milled features, ±0.05mm on bores and parallel surfaces. Tighter than ±0.01mm we'd typically jig-bore or grind — let us know the critical dimensions at quote stage and we'll quote the right process.
4140 PG plate and bar, 316/304 stainless plate, bronze C932/C954, aluminium 6061/7075, mild steel plate, and Hardox 450/500 for wear plates. Inconel and titanium quoted as one-offs through our material partner.
Yes — EN 10204 type 3.1 mill test certificates available on request at order time, no upcharge. Material traceability is held on every job.
2-axis turning to ±0.01mm. Shafts, bushings, flanges and rotational components.
ServiceBurr-free precision cutting in hardened steels. Tight true-position for milled parts.
IndustryStainless and Inconel manifolds and valve bodies with material traceability.
