// What we make

Components Enex regularly machines for oil & gas customers.

Most jobs come through valve OEMs, hydraulic-system integrators, subsea contractors and downstream maintenance crews. The list isn't exhaustive — if your part is harder than usual, that's the kind of work we want.

// Valve internals

Stems, seats, gates, plugs

Tight-tolerance internals for ball, gate, globe and choke valves. Wire EDM for hardened seat geometries. Surface finish to Ra 0.4 on sealing faces.

// Manifolds

Hydraulic & instrument blocks

Multi-port manifolds in 316L and duplex. 4-axis milled, drilled, tapped and pressure-tested. Schematic-to-part on first article.

// Subsea components

Connectors, hubs, retainers

Pressure-rated hubs and connector bodies for subsea installation. Inconel and super-duplex when corrosion duty demands it.

// Instrumentation

Transmitter bodies, fittings

Process-instrument housings, manifold fittings and adaptors. Small batch through to production volume.

// Wellhead spares

Adapters, mandrels, retainers

Replacement wellhead spares to OEM print or reverse-engineered from worn samples. Pressure-test ready, NDT optional.

Hex-body valve housing — stainless service

Stainless hex-bodied housing with internal trim, turned and milled from solid. Customer needed a direct-fit replacement for a worn unit on a downstream gas processing site; OEM had moved on from the part.

Worn sample arrived Monday, measured and modelled in CAD same day, quote Tuesday. Machined on the four-axis centre: hex profile, threaded entry, bore and seat finished on the lathe. EN 10204 3.1 mill cert with the part.

Eight working days from sample-in to dispatched part.

What ships with the part.

Oil & gas customers don't just need a part — they need the paper trail that lets the part through the gate. Standard documentation on certified jobs:

  • EN 10204 3.1 mill certs — supplied with every job that requires them, heat-number traceable through machining and dispatch
  • Dimensional inspection report — against your drawing, with deviation summary on critical features
  • NDT reports — DPI, UT or RT through accredited Perth-based partners
  • FAI report — first-article inspection on production-run jobs, format flexible (AS9102, PPAP-style or your in-house template)
// Process & certifications

What we work to.

  • EN 10204 3.1 — material certification. Heat-number traceability standard.
  • Customer specs — we work to client procedures on certified jobs (Woodside, Chevron, Santos formats all run through here previously).

// FAQ

Oil & gas — questions before sending drawings.

Do you supply EN 10204 3.1 certs?

Yes — standard. Mill certs supplied with every job that requires them, with heat-number traceability through machining and dispatch.

Can you machine duplex and super-duplex stainless?

Yes. We routinely machine 2205 duplex and 2507 super-duplex; speeds and feeds tuned for the higher work-hardening rate. Bar sourced through accredited Perth suppliers, typically 5-10 working days.

Do you do Inconel and other nickel alloys?

Yes. Inconel 625 and 718 machined with carbide tooling; ceramic for finishing on production runs. Talk to us before quoting — Inconel costs are sensitive to geometry, and a small spec change can change the price meaningfully.

Can you machine sour-service materials?

Yes. We work to your specified material grade, hardness limits and procedures. Material is sourced through accredited Perth suppliers and supplied with the mill cert.

Do you have a pressure-test rig?

Hydrostatic test up to 350 bar in-house. Higher pressures and gas tests through certified Perth partners — managed as part of the job.
