// Quote request

Send drawings. Get a quote in 24-48 hours.

Quotes are returned by an engineer who's spent hours on the same machines that will run your part. No portals, no auto-pricing, no quote-to-shop translation lag. Most enquiries are turned around the same day if drawings arrive before noon AWST.

Tell us about the part

Required: email, quantity, description. Everything else helps but isn't blocking.

Confidential by default. Drawings are treated as commercial-in-confidence; mention NDA below and we'll send one before you attach anything sensitive.

Drawings & files

Don't attach files here — submitting will open your email client pre-filled with everything above. Attach drawings & photos to that email, then send. If you don't use a desktop mail client, just email contact@enexengineering.com.au directly.

// What happens next

From submitted drawing to part on a pallet.

Step 01 · Hour 0

Drawings reviewed

Drawings land directly with an engineer. Geometry, materials and tolerances assessed. We'll email back if anything's unclear before quoting.

Step 02 · Hour 24-48

Quote returned

Fixed price, lead time, material certs and process notes. If a different process or material would deliver the same function for less, we'll suggest it.

Step 03 · On approval

On the lathe

Programmed, set up and machined in Malaga. Production-run parts go through a first-article inspection before the rest of the batch runs.

Step 04 · On the truck

Dispatched

Dimensional report and material certs supplied. Daily Perth metro courier. Weekly direct freight to Karratha, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton.

// Common questions before sending drawings
How quickly will I hear back?

Most quotes are returned within 24-48 hours. Drawings received before noon AWST are usually quoted same day. If your job is more involved (multi-part assembly, complex programming) we'll email back within a few hours to acknowledge and confirm timing.

Will the price hold?

Yes. The quote is the price. The only times the figure changes is if the customer changes the spec, the drawing has missing information that surfaces during programming, or a material price moves materially between quote and order — and in those cases we'll come back to you before machining anything.

Can you machine without a drawing?

For straightforward parts and reverse-engineering work, yes — send the worn part or photos with measurements. For tight-tolerance or safety-critical parts we'd usually create a drawing as part of the job and send it back to you for sign-off before machining.

Do you do one-offs?

Yes. There's no minimum order. A one-off prototype runs through the same shop as a 5,000-part production batch.

Can I visit the workshop?

Yes — by appointment. Email or call to arrange. Many production customers do an initial visit before placing the first order.
